I am trying to get a TV antenna working again that I have not used for a few years. The element that connects to the cable has no continuity to the other elements so obviously the rivet has corroded.But what I find intrguing is the outer braided copper wire connects on the other side of the same element.This does not make sense in my book.Can someone enlighten me? The antenna is similar to this one.
