It was a radio spot to advertise our bout tomorrow. We talked about our sponsors, the game, joked around a bit. T'was a good time.
I’m sure you upheld the principles and traditions of athletic competition and remembered those who paved the way like the legendary SF Bay Bombers and Los Angeles Thunderbirds :2thumbsup: Hotwater
Actually early roller derby was much like the WWE. All scripted. True traditions and athletic competition were really brought out by teams like Gotham, Denver Roller Dolls, and the Rocky Mountain Roller Girls.
Hey cool! Nice work. I got into the radio once when I was the first person to text in an answer the quickest. I was really shy >.> and didn't know what to say when they rang because I really didn't believe I'd win anything hehe. Then I went into a pool of 4 others but I was never called up, I can't remember what they won maybe an iPod.
this might have worked pre-2009. these days, you really needed to give 48 hours notice to catch anyone around here.
