Tsunami alert for Puerto Rico after 7.6-magnitude earthquake

If you thought Puerto Rico had it bad after being slammed by two Hurricanes earlier this year which crippled the island nation it's now under a Tsunami Alert...


A tsunami alert has been issued for Puerto Rico and the US and British Virgin Islands after a 7.6-magnitude earthquake struck in a region still reeling from two hurricanes.

The US Tsunami Warning Center said waves up to a metre above tidal levels were possible in the hours after the quake struck north of Honduras at 10.52pm local time on Tuesday. The quake was very shallow, at only 6.2 miles
