I went 3 days with just a 30 min nap in there. I was taking care of my Aunt while she was dying of cancer. Well, by this point I suppose I was just watching her. Waiting. Anyway, when I have a severe lack of sleep, I always end up with a sore throat. I dunno why, but I do.
i never tried to be awake for such a long time, if so then it happened accidently, so my max were something about 40 hours, but after hearing strange sounds while watching tv, i went to bed cause i was scared. But it´s always a cool experience to recognize, that you can stay awake so long, the onliest point is to get trough the feeling of "i got to go sleep now". If you passed that point you don´t feel tirde anymore... much love Lubcycka
I am up until 5:00am on weekdays talking to my guy on the phone, with classes that expect me to be awake by 7:00, no naps in between. Too much stuff to do. On weekends, I'm with my friend who works the late shift, and am up until 8:00 the next morning, and am still only able to get a few hours of sleep. So technically, I am able to say >>>WHAT'S SLEEP???<<<
Yeah ! I know all about this phenomena - I tell you what - its hallucinatory after only 2 days - slightly and after 3 days you really start cracking up a bit - I think I know why you get that way. Its because your brain is too tired to do otherwise - infact a lot of chemicals are being released that normally only flood the brain when youre asleep so the slight hallucinations and talking are to do with your brain either suppressing chemicals associated with normal functioning or flooding you with chemicals associated with sleeping states I quite like the highs off sleep deprivation I love the combination of caffein and no-sleep - the visual hallucinations can get incredible
Yeah I stayed awake on concerta for 2 days and on the third day I was watching the movie The Hills have Eyes and when a white surface would come up i would see a darkness spread from the inside to the outside of the white area. Pretty cool. Also I would see little white whisps in the air. Kind of like snow. Pretty crazy visuals.
I once ate adderol for four days to stay awake. On the fourth day I was going up to my room and I have a lamp with 5 bulbs coming out and it started reachhhhhing for me, which freaked me out. So I went to lie in bed but my bed was breathing so hard I couldn't sit on it. Anytime I turned my head I saw people out of the corner of my eyes just hanging out. So I smoked a bowl to relax and saw a man sitting in my closet. I ended up sleeping for 12 hours on the floor in my closet and waking up with the worrrst neck kink. The best part about sleep deprivation is how hilarious everything is. At lunch that day I just remember drooling on the table I was laughing so hard. I get like that from even 24-36 hours without sleep though, so it's a good time.
hmmm. i woke up at 7:00 yesterday morning. its now 10:48 pm. i better be sleeping soon. i took a couple of Dexy's last night and well, you know how it is
well i don't usually start talking more, I just can't focus and i drop things, and then i fall asleep on the job as well....
I enjoy the feeling when your body begins to run on pure adrenaline... usually from a lack of sleep. My eyes are heavy and I feel weak as hell, but I have all the energy in the world.
I often stay up for 24-30 hrs because of working 2 different shifts, and to readjust to the different time I can't sleep when I'm not tired so instead I stay up longer to change my sleep cycle... Longest I've ever been up was 3 days, didn't sleep for 2 nights because of extremely stressful events in my life, but I still had to go to school during the days... I could barely see straight by the 3rd day and felt like I was magically floating everywhere instead of walking... probably looked like complete shit too I guess
If I could just shunt myself into a manic state for the amount of time I should be asleep, I'll be able to keep awake. of course, then, I'd go crazier and start not being able to not be violent... not good. I went about 40 hours once, I was so relaxed in the morning, not tired, just calm, unlike ever before.
2 or 3 days is the most I've gone. It was torture, but better if I had something to do. When I just sat around all day it was harder. I was trying to fix my body clock, (still am, lol). Trying to stay up so I could sleep, you know? It ended up making me exhausted, but it was actually hard to get to sleep afterwards, like I was really keyed up.
The most I've ever done was 56 hours. I wanted to stay up longer, but my mom made me go to sleep. It was sort of like a personal expirement... I wanted to see how long I could stay awake. It was... interesting. Very interesting, actually. I started hallucinating after about 40 hours I think. I felt the walls closing in on me and the things in my room were bending. And I could see things floating from the corner of my eye, and when I turn around, there's nothing there. It was very exciting, and I'm planning on doing it again soon.
I can go 3-4 days without sleep quite easily if I don't have sleeping pills to knock my ass out. But after 4 days of staying awake I become a royal crabby bitch
