The desire to seek trust can be a person's downfall, perhaps more so online than in real life. I don't look for opportunies to prove a person is trustworthy, but like to stay tuned into the vibes that tell me so.. Mud? Remember on your board when we were kinda in character and my character asked if yours trusted me? Vibes... And I saw a need I only now recognise from alot of people I see online. You answered as though you were in real life, and that shocked me, but it was the turning point in our friendship. I really don't see why the trust issue comes before (chronologically) casual friendship.. Exploring friendship at a slow pace will allow trust to find it's own level, as it mostly did with us. I guess trust is something you shouldn't have to look for, or even think about too much. Just recognise the signs..
as long as people stay on the other end of a modem, i don't really see or care what difference it makes whether i trust them or not. i just don't say anything i wouldn't be proud of to have said. or at least try very hard not to. or that might be construed as legaly questionable unless it is something where i feel the law itself is or has become immoral. i just don't see where/how: trust + online = issue. what i like, the really nice thing, is we can all play. the one legged man can BE tarzan. for me that's the whole thing. we're just whatever we want to immagine ourselves to be. so called real life has nothing to do with it. other then that real life is out there. and watching. the net IS a PUBLIC place. so fill it with the words you WANT the public to hear. people are of course all different ways. that's what i trust. that the nature of reality is diversity. not that any one person can be expected to be any one way. no matter what they say or what they don't. i trust that i don't know anything about anyone. and that, i feel, is perfectly o k. if people are being what they like to be. i like that people are being that. if the're not, well that's up to them too. long as i don't have to live with someone, what the heck is that to me? some words i like listning (with my eyes) to more then others. i never know nor assume, from whome they will come. =^^= .../\...
i am not going to sit here and tell you whether or not to trust me, but i can offer a few ideas. if you say nothing, you cannot be judged. you will not be heard unless you take that risk that a few will conspire to their own initiative. kinda a life lesson too. when it comes to the decifering of a username to a real person... ...i would like to refer you to a short film that you will have to scour a little for. there are a few sites that have it for download. 80mg i think. it is a short film by geoffrey haley, titled "the Parlor". i would advise you to see it at least once for some console in this issue. and as john goodman so grandiloquentialy said, "fuck it dude, let's bowl" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0296134/
