A better idea is to take the wall down. And make Mexico part of America. At least Baja California, The people there want to work and make money unlike Some of the younger American. Maybe They should see them as people. We all are one race, the human race
I think it's a tremendous waste of money, and would stop at most a handful of illegals from getting through. Illegal drug smuggling takes place by digging tunnels under the border, and I'm sure there are plenty of illegals who cross the border the same way. Sealing off all the tunnels would do a heck of a lot more than a huge wall that stops next to no one.
They would not come if there was not a job. So much blame is put on the employee and not the employer. There are simply jobs Americans will not do. Either we do not like the pay another American will give us to do it or we find the job beneath us. American companies have a large presence in Mexico too in industries like farming. So the same sort of job a Mexican will do in America. The American companies do not pay American minnium wage since they do not have to. Mexican wages are below half of an American wage. So if they come here and are paid under the table they still make more. If we want to stop the issue at the source why not pressure the American companies to raise wages? The answer is simple: capitalism. The share holders LOVE Mexico's labor laws. It means they are paid more. There is no incentive to change. No man will leave his family to work if work is 10 miles away. It's just common sense.
Let's not give this idiot credit for having any training in speech or anything else. He's simply an idiot and idiots use that sing-song shit!
Inaccurate. China recognized it's military potential and used it for weaponry. It took a bit to master... getting in close enough to stab a guy was still the military strategy during Napoleonic warfare. Heilongjiang hand cannon - Wikipedia
The only really good wall, was the one Pink Floyd created! So there, Donald, put that in your twitter pipe and smoke it! LOL!
People who say walls don't work, haven't watched "The Walking Dead" Yes. That's right. I just compared illegal border crossers to zombies.
a wall's a stupid idea. now dig the rio grande out to a 5km wide canal stretching from south texas to the baja peninsula? hell of a thing to swim and gives another shipping option instead of having to boat all the way down to panama. build some desal plants at the ocean endpoints, and pump the purified water up into the desert portions and we now have more potential farmland, (which we can fertilize with biosolids, and if nothing else, use it for massive carbon sequestration - switchgrass, for example.. which we have the option of burying or refining into biofuel. or legalize pot and start flooding mexico with cheap american weed) which'd encourage growth along the canal but nah. sheet metal and cinderblocks'll do just fine. I mean it's not like someone'd climb one of those 'natural barriers' or hike to the end, and much like the great wall, hike/wade/rowboat around the end. (depending on the tide)
