In the heartland states here in America the main socio-political discussion of late has been the question of whether to reopen the economy so people can start making money again. Most governors, and even Republicans among them, have advised against opening the economy too soon. The reports of large numbers of sick and dying have become larger by the day. Some reports show more than 600,000 Americans have become infected, and some 32000 have died. Hot spots keep popping up where no governmental precautions have been taken, as in South Dakota where the governor is Republican. President Trump has been acting as if he is eager to reopen the economy for the sake of making money. Workers and business owners want to return to the making of money. Standing in their way are tough Democrats who point to the vulnerable citizens and say, "this one's right to live is more important than your right to make money." Donald Trump has so far avoided such a debate concerning health, safety, and public morals. In fact, Donald Trump has demonstrated a fundamental inability to understand communal morals. He has demonstrated a desire for the Quality life for himself and his cronies; however, he is not interested in the Morality of its impact on less fortunate and suffering people. Ask your self: What sort of a man is insensitive to the suffering of others? If the economic curfew is lifted so Republicans can make money, other American will die. Are Republicans today so insensitive to that question of basic human ethics?

I'll give the Republican Governor of Ohio some kudos on re-opening. He's been on the side of common sense through this corona virus mess. He's had the balls to buck Trump and the idiotic rush to re-open right now - for the safety of the whole public. He closed things in Ohio (I believe) before any other Republican governors did. Unlike Trump, he listened to the voices of the experts and did the safe thing - erring on the side of caution and safety.

Isn't it ironic that in S. Dakota, where the Republican woman governor still refuses to take appropriate steps to protect the citizens, has become a hotspot, and had to close the Smithfield pork plant there after a bunch of the employees got Covid -19. Other meat-producing plants around the U.S. have been closed due to virus outbreaks - mainly in states with Republican governors who stick with Trump and refuse to issue stay-at-home orders. Maybe those Covid -19 infected Smithfield employees ought to pay their Republican governor a personal visit to thank her for her willingness to keep the state wide open.

This IS the "pro-life Republican party" ………………….. right? Seems odd that they're so eager to gamble with OTHER peoples' lives. So lead by example - come out of those closed enclaves of governors' mansions and mix in with all the people. This Covid - 19 thing is all SO OVERBLOWN …………………….right?
