I'm afraid I'm leaning to the conclusion you're a troll. You know I'm not criticizing you in any way because of what minority you might belong to. I have no idea why you want to portray it in seriousness like that... You have also see me criticize others unnuanced bashing of you. Disappointing you insist going this road
I am not a troll. I'm a man who is twice you age who likes to use the internet. I write comments on Yahoo, on Democracynow, on Al Jezeera, on Azzaman, on New York Times, on The Denver Post, on The Boulder Daily Camera, on Russia Today, and on the Fort Collins Coloradoan. I write what I feel like writing. That's one of the nice things about my American citizenship. I did not mean to upset you Asmo. I only mentioned Dutch Hounds because I like their little short legs. I do love them and think they are brave little dogs. I am an equal opportunity critic and spread my comments, kind or harsh, on all matters worthy of debate.
No, and I don't even believe you think so. I'm sorry if you really think you're saying anything relevant here. Although... I'm also sorry if it's an attempt to get at me I pity you.
Yes, you are. You're falsely and consciously misportraying my criticism on you as having a racist aspect.
What I wonder about in all this partisan fog is this: Isn't the spread of this virus on a GLOBAL scale enough evidence, in and of itself, to make rational people want to obey "stay-at-home" orders?? These ministers who insist on holding services, governors who insist on keeping their states wide open, and people who claim they're going to go out and do what they want to do because they're "free" Americans - didn't God give us all brains? (if you believe in God) Would he not expect us to use them? Why should we as Americans, need to listen to Trump - or any other President - to be able to make a smart decision when we have medical experts like Dr. Fauci, Dr. Gottlieb and all the other infectious disease experts here in the U.S. as well as other countries? When wildfires break out in western states, do residents need a president or governor to tell them to evacuate? NO. They SEE the evidence, and get the hell out! Every objective news agency on the planet has been broadcasting the severity of this virus for a few months now - but STILL - a fair number of "patriots"(?) can't see the forest for the trees. They wave their "I'm free and I'll do as I please" flag even as they themselves die!!!! They have no love or concern for their fellow man or woman - or even their own family members!! A good number - led by Trump - want to "open up" the country - even as the virus continues to spread and kill people. How does this behavior exhibit intelligence - or (for the religious faithful) the love God wants us to show toward our fellow mankind?????
I agree with that … good points and good questions. Them patriots you speak about can't seem to accept that the political reality of globalism is based on the fact that we all live on the same globe.
I think he either runs out of brains at various points, or just doesn't install them in some people for some reason.
Underscore some churches. The good news is that most churches are taking it seriously and are finding alternatives to public gatherings during the pandemic. There are always fringe sects that push the envelope of the First Amendment. The head of the Scientologists reportedly denies the threat Scientology Chief David Miscavige Is a Coronavirus Denier, Says Top Critic , & Trump supportr Jerry Falwell, Jr., president of Liberty University was a resister & is in serious hot water over letting students come back after spring break. There are always the snake handlers who think God gives special immunity to Christians, and sects like Christian Scientists and the Church of the First Born , deny medicine. Katherine Stewart got herself into controversy by her column in the New York Times claiming that the anti-science bias of some evangelicals plays a part. Faith may give some a false sense of optimism about personal risk. This Bias Explains Why People Don't Take COVID-19 Seriously But Supreme Court interpretation of the First Amendment free exercise clause make clear that the police power of state governments to protect public health and safety take precedence over such beliefs. ^^^^^ You're correct Tishomingo. I should have said some churches. Gratefully, my Church has chosen the wise, thoughtful, and loving course of action = Stay home for EVERYONE'S safety. Tyrsonswood post 1071 - it sure seems as though some people aren't plugged in, doesn't it?

Not all Marines hate Islam they think they are doing their job and know that it's a big religion and most of them don't want to shoot you. My friend is like that but I agree Orison is not a fan of them or people who don't kiss Trump's ass. Odd because I was here under Obama and he would bring him up in non-political threads. So he's kind of a hypocrite. He did not like the president so he used his free speech to let people know. That's not OK with Trump or we need to "grow up" as he said. Well Orison it's pretty mature and adult to use ones rights I think.
