I think the main problem today is that the white nationalists who support Trump think they haven't done anything wrong; and consequently, mistreatment of minorities should be allowed to continue. They like to cherry picks individual incidents like the Reginald Denny incident and then say Blacks are at fault, Blacks are on welfare, Blacks get little white girls pregnant, and Blacks commit violent crime. They never admit that they have done anything wrong, in fact claim to be model citizens. Imagine that, they claim to be model citizens!

Bullshit. MOST of the white population were absolutely against slavery and racism. Even when the KKK was at their peak most of the Americans, who were predominantly white, wanted nothing to do with them.

The next logical question would be "gee, so why did they tolerate it" to which I'd ask "why do so many minority communities and populations in the US tolerate gangs". And minority gangs are not a minority of the gang population. White gangs are almost rare by comparison. Especially the KKK.

Panic, you don't know and don't understand American society. Here in the Midwest, there are towns with cops which would confront you within minutes if you were to drive into them … today. The cops would tell you - as they have told me - leave as soon as you finish shopping or you'll get arrested for drug possession. That last part says they - the white cops - would plant something inside your car. In southern Indiana the little towns are White towns and you will be run out, or burned out. In southern Michigan it's the same. In rural Arizona it's the same. In western Montana it's the same. I tried to rent or buy a place to live and was told to leave, with in hours. In big cities here in the Midwest, the Black gangs will kill all rivals, especially the ones from the KKK towns. There are borders in this country. Racism exists and Whites control most territory.

I didn't say that's all women are good for. You added that in there. I get along real good with Cuban and Puerto Rican women. If we have sex it's our business not yours. If you want to have sex, ask 6 Eyes or Vanilla Gorilla.

 

Discrimination is discrimination regardless of the direction. And it doesn't require centuries of suffering (which nobody has actually experienced given human life spans) to understand it. There's no core aspect of it that's worse for one group than another. This is something that has been part of the human landscape from the beginning.

I too felt the same in the 70s. I was into disco, it saved my adolescent sex life. I also had all of the Parliament Funkadelic albums as well as Donna Summer, KC And the Sunshine Band and basically enough to be a DJ. I didn't care what "color" the music was coming from, it was all brilliant and made me want to move. I still have a trophy from a disco contest (my wife and daughter laugh at it). Racism was something rednecks did. Even in the shadow of Atlanta we didn't have time for that shit.

These days it seems like too many people have time to push the idea that nothing has changed since the freakin 50s. What kind of bullshit is that?
