Trump: The Greatest Threat To Freedom And Democracy?

It means a little more. It might mean some hostile agendas/policies.

It's been a long time since America was the only nuclear nation. Some people just don't get that the times have changed.

 

I have often maintained that if trump is elected, he will either be impeached, or assasinated by his own supporters.

 

The greatest threats to our freedom and democracy are ignorant and apathetic citizens.

America has carried out a genocide against Iraq, against Panama, and against Viet Nam.

 

Not so certain that was genocide.

 

I guess it is ok for trump to make statements like..."I could stand on 5th Avenue and shoot someone, and people would still vote for me..."
Sensationalism....? perhaps...but no leader of mine gets to talk like that.

and it is stated that he regrets Pence as his choice, and wished he did not listen to everyone, mainly his sons...I knew his whole family will behind all of the decisions already, anyway....and wanted to go with his heart....Chris Christie at the last minute and asked at midnight, after Pence had been flown in for the announcement,..."Is it too late to change my mind?"
He was told it was. You can already see the cracks in that relationship. Pence wants to be his puppet now? Good luck!

I listened to the Republican Convention last night, on radio. There was lots of praise for Trumpy. I heard some speakers say Trumpy is running for the American people, like guys who are sitting at home wondering where they are going to come up with the housepayment? I immediately asked my self: Hasn't it always been the Republicans who have said they are against bailing out homeowners who had put themselves in that position? I heard another speaker say Trump has your back, and would go after Muslim Terrorists. I asked myself if Trump knows which Muslims are the terrorists? I heard another speaker say that Trump would not wait until the Muslims are here in America, where they might use a nuke on one of the cities. I asked my self if that sounded like Condoleasa Price of the Bush junior administration, who did not want to wait to see if the evidence was a mushroom cloud? Do these Republicans believe their own BS?

 

The latest Trump news is that Trump is saying he wouldn't fully support NATO. Trump claims that not all NATO countries are paying their NATO dues and he won't support them if they don't pay.

Trump's bad for Europe it seems.

 

well isn't it unfair that some country's don't pay their far share and the usa pays more than their fair share . I know the uk and Poland pay their fair share

 

I think Hillary is a greater threat to freedom and democracy and here's why.
Hillary shoots and assassinates anybody who wants Bernie Sanders to win, therefore she is a threat to democracy.
Hillary will add rules and regs to society, gestapo Big Brother and 1984 fascism, thefore she is a threat to freedom.
Although Trump will add gestapo Big Brother 1984 fascism as well, Hillary will be worse than Trump and here is why.
Hillary will cause World War 3, which America will lose, and Russia and China will take over the world, and freedom and democracy will be dead for 1000 years.

America has no obligation to take in other's immigrants. They are guests in our home. This is our land our territory not theirs. We are doing them a service and helping their lives. We can choose to give them a test to make sure they will not betray our hospitality and overtake our country. It's basic mathematics but I guess people can't see it.

Trump is a draft-dodging anti-war wussy. Hillary is more like Hitler in that she has actually killed people to further her political agenda.

the thing i don't understand about that guy, even if he had never opened his mouth and self proclaimed himself an absolute thug,

is what the hell is he selling that anyone wants, and why would they want it?

(and why would they rather have a thug, then glenda the good witch? because she's a woman and a pretty much average politician?
and they'd rather have a failed mafia don? i just don't get it. why would anyone hate logic that much?
if they hate democracy that much, i'm sure there are other places in this world that would welcome them.)

 

I think America should get out of Europe (and everywhere else).
America not contributing to NATO would be a good thing for the world.

 

I'm worried that he's going to start us in another war, for sure. I'm worried about our freedoms. People are getting attacked for disagreeing with Trump supporters and for not wanting to accept his presidency. I'm really worried about the minorities. Trump and especially Mike Pence see protecting minorities as a special interest, or extra rights. I'm also worried about gay marriage. People say he can't do anything about that, but there are lots of things that could have and should have disqualified him but nothing was done about it. It scares me that he does anything he pleases and people blindly worship him and let him get away with shit that they'd condemn a Democrat for doing.

 

This isn't star wars. The emperor can't just disband the Senate.
Also, with a 30% or so approval rating to start I wouldn't say he is loved.

 

Trump is Professional Wrestling at its worst which is Fox News' specialty because they're legally entertainment rather than a news show. The rest of the press is struggling to learn more about Professional Wrestling because they've been focused more on avoiding over-acting which just doesn't apply and with the rise of reality TV and now fake news the plot just couldn't get more convoluted and is starting to make even TV shows like "Soap" look tame in comparison.

 

I think there's a lot of unwarranted panic on the left, if not more than there was on the right in Obama's first year. Trump isn't going to lock up those that disagree with him as much as he may want to, congress (both parties) won't let unconstitutional actions fly. I hope to see him rebuild our country and everyone began to act civil towards one another again. If not our country will continue on its downward spiral.
