He served 8 years as president and was not legally allowed to run again. He was not thrown out of office in any way.

You do realize that a republican form of government doesn't refer to the Republican political party?
You do realize that the Democratic party is the oldest political party in the world arising from Jefferson's Democratic-Republican Party and predates the Republican party?
You do realize that the constitution gave us our "representatives" and "public servants" that you seem to despise?

You do realize that the first political party, the Democratic-Republican Party, was formed by Jefferson and Madison?
Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence, and was President among many, many other state and national accomplishments.
Madison is known as the "Father of the Constitution."[48], wrote The Federalist Papers and the Bill of Rights, and was President among many, many other state and national accomplishments.

So I don't know what you're bitching about in regards to political parties.

I'm sorry to disillusion you, but you're wrong !!! - the Bill of Rights was based on a book written by Thomas Paine - an Englishman who was born and lived in East Sussex.

What is going on in the US at the moment reminds me of a cat playing with a mouse.
Trump should be held to his manifesto promise of making America great again.
Needless to say, the people making huge profits by importing goods from China don't like the taste of the medicine and are hell bent on creating distractions.
Meanwhile, cities like Detroit continue to rot.

We are in exactly the same situation in Europe. I sometimes wonder if politicians have any common sense at all.
Even a child would realize that if he spent all his money on cheap sweets, he would have a fat stomach and no money.

The Bill of Rights was based on a number of writings.
Madison is credited with being a major supporter and proposed the Bill of Rights as an actual addition to the Constitution..
So it is wrong to say he wrote it in its entirety, but he did propose it and was a major contributor along with George Mason and it was he who proposed the nine amendments to the the House of Representatives.

I don't think they are upset about it at all. According to the news report I saw they were celebrating it. There are, however, some journalists, and apparently some democrats over here who are upset about it, accusing him of starting a war, etc....

Funny how they don't want to do their job and declare war, but they also don't want him to bring our troops back home. Equally amusing is how, while whining about his withdrawal of troops from one theatre, they are now whining because he took out an enemy. Danged if you do/danged if you don't.

You really can't have it both ways. I wonder what would happen if politicians stopped doing things the Constitution never authorized, and started doing the few things it commands? Shouldn't be to complex: Protecting our rights instead of limiting them, protecting us from fraud and foreign invasion. Their powers really are few and well-defined, after all.

  12. Well I saw on the tv that they are upset, which makes infinitely more sense and explains why they're saying the middle east is going to be littered with dead Americans. I'm sure fox news has some alternative facts to present its braindead audience, though.

There's no reason to declare war. Congress wouldt declare war for no reason, hence why the president ignores the constitution and just declares it himself like the god damned tyrant he is.

By the way, how's Afghanistan going?

I did not think that it was impossible. Having had businesses fail, he clearly knows why the west is failing and he mentioned taxing Chinese imports to redress the balance a few times.
I recently saw a program of how Fredrick Trump (his grandfather) amassed the family fortunes. Can you guess what business he was running. I am sure that Donald would love to do the same today. :yum::yum::yum:
