Why would Democrats care who runs in the Republican primaries in 2024. Trump lost this time by nearly 8 million votes. Why would Republicans want to nominate in 2024 a guy who lost by that much? He would probably lose by an even bigger margin if he runs again, so Democrats should wish for him to be the GOP nominee again.

 

Trump's second impeachment was on the 13th of January, one week before he left office. There is nothing stating that the Senate trial can't happen after Trump has left office.

The QAnon Shaman says he's willing to testify at Trump's impeachment trial - against the president

The QAnon Shaman, he of the fur, face paint, horns, and bare chest, has offered to speak at former President Donald Trump's impeachment trial next month.

The Shaman, real name Jacob Chansley, told the Associated Press, via his lawyer Albert S. Whatley, that he would be open to attending the trial and testify against the president.

Chansley, Whatley said, had been "horrendously smitten" with Trump, but now feels "like he was betrayed by the president" after the president failed to give him and other Capitol rioters pardons.

 

These days, in the US you would have to look hard to find a more credible witness, and they would cost a small fortune, but this is guy is amazing for cheap publicity.
