I would at least explain why exactly. So it can't be denied or parried with a similar remark. He's not nutty for pointing out such behavior in Republicans, but for insisting every Republican is like that, and sometimes seemingly every right leaning person even.

As i understood there are both witnesses and evidence. If it holds up (is solid evidence) remains to be seen.
I also think that just because there's little chance he will be impeached (because of the republican majority) it doesn't render the attempt pointless or not serious.
