Cool, write your congressperson and tell them you want witnesses called in the trial then, and that you're unappreciative of efforts by Trump and republican lawmakers to prevent the american people from hearing from witnesses
If this was true, and it isn't, then it won't make any difference. Not only do these democrat senators have the minority, there is no evidence or witnesses. You've got nothing to worry about. Relax. Bernie will be back on the campaign trail in no time. You do know that other than Yang, Bernie is the only other democrat to pull in former Trump voters. Him staying in Washington and off the campaign trail would be the best thing for Trump heading into reelection.
One can disagree with certain evidence and how serious of an offense Trump pressuring Ukrain is, but one cannot in all seriousness state there's no evidence at all
It's almost like he's afraid of what they might say. Plus, there are the numerous times that Trump, Rudy, and the rest of the gang have confessed to these "alleged" crimes on national TV and social media
The potential witnesses are former National Security Advisor John Bolton, acting White House Chief of staff Mick Mulvaney, Mulvaney's senior advisor Robert Blair and Associate Director for National Security at the Office of Management and Budget Michael Duffey. Former Rudy Giuliani associate Lev Parnas is another possibility. If they're not allowed to testify then I'd like to at least see them interviewed as a group on 60 Minutes.
If anything trump must have pissed off many people who are democrats. I think i read he used to be one himself.
It's a way to avoid waking up in a parking lot. I mean of course, actually IN the parking lot (not on top of it).
Adam Schiff's House Intelligence Committee has been prevented by the NSA from having documents related to the impeachment process. The House Way and Means Committee has been prevented by the Department of Treasury from having documents related to the impeachment process. The Judiciary Committee under Jerry Nadler has been prevented from having evidence by the DOJ, evidence concerning Deutsche Bank activity by Trump. The Republican controlled Senate is resisting evidence which has been supplied by Lev Parnas, who worked for Giuliani and Trump during the Ukraine Affair. The Intelligence Committee has been denied explanations by the State Department concerning the targeting and firing of the ambassador to Ukraine. Mitch McConnell is refusing to allow John Bolton's testimony, based on Executive Privilege, even after Bolton had put the relevant information in a book to be sold to the public. It is becoming clear that the Republicans would stick with Trump regardless of the criminal activity he commits, or that which is required to protect him.
It’s like a blizzard of shit from the Trump administration and the Republicans. There seems to be no end to the avalanche of unethical, criminal, and just plain mean discourse and actions coming from them. And some of these things they are doing have real long term adverse effects on our health, environment, social fabric and quality of life. Many of us long for the lack of chaos that was Obama’s Presidency. To the Republicans....are you threatened by harmony, equality and justice?
What I just saw on CNN a few minutes ago is this: They found warehouses in Puerto Rico that are full of emergency supplies, including hundreds of pallets of drinking water in bottles. And they are unused. After a major hurricane and a few big earth quakes, Trump still does not want the Spanish speaking people of that island to have government help.
after the truth, like all Americans and patriots, the lack of chaos in the Manchurian's "presidency" is attributed to a lying complicit press. when the truth is uncovered from the pile of left wing crap we'll have harmony, equality and justice
The people fired so far for this seem to be Puerto Rican themselves. What makes you say this is a deliberate (lack of) action, and how are you certain Trump is directly responsible for it?
He has the ultimate authority - as top executive - like Ukraine, Congress made a law for hurricane relief for Puerto Rico. His job is to see that the American Citizens of Puerto Rico get this Congressional help. Our Constitutions says ALL BILLS OF REVEUE START IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. Trump's job is to carry out Congressional directives. This incident is another evidence of Trump using his office to hurt none white people.
Thanks for explaining I'm not sure he has the main responsibility here. It's not conclusive evidence this is primarily a race issue, so why word it like that? Doesn't seem to help the left in any way.
