    It's like the feral animal culls, the animals that ruin the environment thanks to overbreeding and being feral. In Australia where I lived the kangaroos would destroy the place so they did annual culls of 2000 or so, I went on a few trips with my dad. Was pretty fun, headshots only to be "humane". But anyway, of course there'd be protests.

    Animals rights or an environment to live in and sustain natural and native flora/fauna?

    US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has become a joke under the Trump administration.

    The Interior secretary lifted the ban on lead in ammunition despite the harmful effects lead has on fish and wildlife, including the American Bald Eagle.

    That explains why he unleashed the full powers of the presidency by ordering the EPA to wipe-out the American Bald Eagle, the symbol of our nation. ~ sigh~lol...

    Cyanide traps are lethal M44 devices which are embedded in the ground, baited and they explode through spring action when bitten.
    Sodium cyanide is released which turns into cyanide gas when contacted with water or saliva.

    The devices are indiscriminate in that they kill or injure anything or anyone who sets them off such as humans, pets, and endangered species.
    In 2003 a man was severely injured by one, in 2006 a man was injured and his dog killed, in 2012 a dog was killed, in 2017 a 14year was injured and his dog killed, between 2013–2016 at least 22 pets and livestock animals were killed. Additionally at least 300 wild animals were unintentionally killed.
    Idaho and Oregon have banned them.

    I don't know anything about coyotes. But these cyanide bombs will kill anything which comes close, including humans.

    Deer are shot here in the UK for conservation reasons to keep their numbers down, because their natural predators are extinct here (thanks to us of course). The problem with these cyanide bombs is they are indiscriminate.
