lol geoprodis i'm not even gonna go into detail as to why i do know that cops can be assholes... i probably know better than you, man. whatever. if you guys think that yelling and swearing a whole lot is going to help you, i don't give a shit. if you're gonna be stupid and immature when it comes to dealing with police, then you don't have a right to complain about anything that happens. you think it's a good idea? you think it makes things any better? have fun.
I don't think it will help. I do think it is funny when someone else (I would never do it) does it and gets away with it. The guy was 16 and drunk..I think that qualifies as stupid and immature at least in that situation. Does he have a right to complain that the cops were harassing them for minding their own business? Wouldn't "please keep it down" be a little more civil? No and no. I think the OP was a funny story and I agree he was acting stupid and immature...and the cops were acting like fascist assholes. Sorry, but if you continue to post supporting stupid cops I am going to argue. No hard feelings against anyone but the cops
Thanks for the support guys. These douches main argument is that I think acting that way was a good idea. I don't. At the time I did. But the point is the cops were wrong not me. These poor fucks will never understand that and that is exactly why the human race will NEVER reach its potential. The reason I put the crack rock at the end of the story is because that is what it was about. The story led up to that. And honestly the only reason that I went out of my way to say that I was being argumentative and talking shit was to give all info in the story. So cherokeemist and monsterman (I know the spelling may be off on these names) are you or are you not associated with the police force or military either by relation or occupation?
monsterman just secretly wishes he could mouth off to the cops in reality he just gets really nervous and 'cooperates' haha hes tryin to tell a story and ur hating on a kid that got pushed down a flight of stairs while in a cast wow
i don't know man, maybe i misunderstood, but that to me says that you still think it's a good idea to do what you did. that's what i'm saying, i know you were 16 and young and maybe didn't make the best or most mature decisions, but do you still think what you did was the thing to have done? geoprodis thanks for sticking to the discussion and not resorting to calling me a douche and no LostOne, i'm not associated with any member of the police... in fact, my dad spent over half his life in prison, has dealt extensively with law enforcement on the shit end of things and i have heard plenty to know enough about how things are likely to work. i'm the last person who would support bullshit cops doing bullshit things. that being said, it's just plain dumb to knowingly put yourself in a situation where you're just inviting them to have something against you. they can lie, they can pretty much do what they want because no one gives a shit about "criminals". that doesn't mean you have to make it any easier for them. cops hear shit every day from people, you think they don't know how many people hate them? calling them a fuckin pig isn't anything new and it's not gonna prove any points to anyone. man, nothing makes a cop angrier than coming across someone who won't let their emotions get the best of them... there's no one they hate dealing with more than someone who knows their rights. If you play things the right way, and know when to tell them they are stepping over the line, you won't even let them get as far as taking you to the station... as soon as you make a police officer aware that YOU know what they can and can not do, they are going to step off- they don't want to deal with that. obviously if you get a total dickhead, doesn't care about legality cop you're going to get messed with either way, whether you know what they're doing is wrong or not. that's a separate issue. but by letting them know that you don't know and aren't willing to exercise your rights, they basically get the message "we can mess with this kid because he doesn't know any better". that's just my opinion man. i exercise my rights whether or not i have anything to hide, because that's what they're meant for. that's why we have them. it's really up to you what you want to do. if you're actually looking to make a change (as in, changing what you feel is a corrupt system) there are ways to do that which don't involve calling cops fucking pigs- because that doesn't get anywhere.
Cherokeemist - good post your post made me think of the time I almost got a paraphenalia charge. My dealer had me meet him in a crappy part of town and I got pulled over right before we did the deal. I brought a pipe in my car for the sole purpose of smoking out my dealer. Cops pulled me over and searched my car and found the pipe. What they also found is a pocket copy of the Constitution. I was thinking it would be a good idea to put some props in your car to make it seem like you are a lawyer or law student. Anyhow the cops made me toss my pipe into the bushes but I didn't get a ticket.
I AM NOT SAYING THAT IT IS A GOOD IDEA NOR AN EFFECTIVE ONE. I agree that there are better ways to handle the situation. But, for the last fucking time, I was 16 and this was my first lesson about all the shit you are talking about i.e. remaining calm and standing up for my rights in a more intelligent matter. How many time are you going to say the exact same thing? And yes you are a douche for immediatley jumping on my case and totally missing the horrifying truth of this story.
it amazes me how everyone on here thinks i'm either defending cops, i'm a cop, or have some relationship to cops. just goes to show you aren't reading anything i say, in which case this is my last post in this thread because talking to 16 yr olds is like talking to a brick wall. for the last time, my point is this: if you want to "stick it to the police", excercise the rights the constitution gives you. this includes refusing them in your house/apartment without a warrant, refusing a car search without probably cause, refusing to answer questions, asking them for their badge information, remaining silent, refusing to take a supposed "bargain" in exchange for your admission, etc. a cop will hate you for this because they can't do a damn thing about it. it makes the cop powerless over you unless he has solid, tangible evidence that proves you did something illegal, which is rarely the case. on the other hand, calling a cop a fucking pig (whoa, i'm sure they've never heard that), giving them shit, telling them to fuck off, etc...that just gives them all the ammo they need to bring you downtown and a judge will support it even if they can't prove you've done anything illegal. i don't think i can make my case any more clear than that. so go ahead and call me some cop supporter, or whatever you please. just don't come on here looking for sympathy when you get fucked over by some cops because you acted like a 2 year old instead of exercising your basic rights.
Monstermann you truely are a douche. Im 26 and you obviously are not reading what I am saying otherwise you would have stopped repeating yourself a long time ago. Douche.
