On the news this side of the 'pond', we are being told 'Sally' has landed and more than five hundred thousand Americans have lost power. My message to those of you who (a) still have electric power, (b) are in the path of this storm: 1. If you can, evacuate out of 'Sally's' path, 2. If you are unable to evacuate, hunker down and stay safe. 3. Once 'Sally' has passed and power is restored, come back and let us know you're all safe.
Unfortunately it is turning out to be another major disaster. Sitting there dumping feet of rain on already flooded lands. As Jerry Brown has said, "where are you going to go?"
Its a pity 'Sally' didn't come in from the Pacific and pass across California, Oregon & Washington State.
