Check out XBMC sometime. It's badass. You can use your own music, streaming radio, or grooveshark (and a bunch of other shit that I can't think of). Plus it uses milkdrop for visualization. It also does a shit ton of other stuff unrelated to music.

This album was given to me on CD by a friend who DJs ambient and psychill. Came over to me where I was sitting down on the edge of a dancefloor at an outdoor music fest, peaking out on liquid, and said 'these next 4 tracks are for you'. Afterwards he flicked me the CD. Being a DJ myself of many years, and a conesier of sound, the times that music really hits me (like not just great, beautiful music, but that whole other level of wizardry) are few and far between....

....being introduced to Puff Dragon was one such time when it hit me!!

 

I've only recently got into it tbh, but have always loved Portishead / Massive Attack / Shadow / Leftfield type stuff... Its nice to listen to after a smoke, but mind blowing on anything stronger (if relaxed enough lol)... Just listening to that Puff stuff atm through me Sennheissers for best effect... Sounds nice, not quite on Bonobo's level yet though I think, but still defo worth a listen!

 

Awesome movie and soundtrack. The soundtrack consists entirely of nothing but Neil Young guitar riffs.
