^ I'm actually quite the opposite. I am usually in awe of the artists who make such amazing while tripping on LSD, Mushrooms, and most every other psychedelic i've tried. I also play guitar myself so that may have something to do with it. But my jaw drops whenever I listen to great music tripping................. The only two experiences i don't find music an integral part of the experience is Ketamine and Salvia.

This hypnotically beautiful for tripping, most of their stuff is.

I could have seen them last September at a festival but ironically, I was tripping too much to find the stage :D

Try listening to the music you really, really like. Your all time favorites, make a playlist.

Some of the stuff I listen to:

Cat Power (favorite), Queens of the Stone Age, Jimi Hendrix, Sublime, Fela Kuti (you're gonna love this one), Antibalas, Some of the Desert Sessions albums, Nine Inch Nails (pick the right albums though), Beethoven (awesome), Waking Life OST (Tosca Tango Orchestra), 65 Days of Static, Mogwai, Radiohead (try Bodysnatchers).

I hate that song when tripping because I realize how much of a terrible song it is.

I can't stand Depeche Mode when tripping. Sounds like if that dude recorded his music on his laptop. Just sounds shitty to me.

Industrial music generally as a whole, the reason is in the name, it sounds like a fucking factory when tripping.

This has become one of my favorite tripping songs within the past couple of months:

This is another one of my favorite tripping songs, though I doubt any of you would listen to it while tripping, since it's pretty violent/satanic and can make for a pretty insane experience:
