Massive Attack, Portishead, HTDA, Tricky, Unkle, Allflaws.

Here is the latest ep from Massive Attack. It like it, I find it somewhat inventive in introducing some aspects of newer hip-hop/trap but retaining the signature Massive Attack sound as well. I'll probably post tracks from Blue Lines and Mezzanine if this thread takes off.

From the dreamier side of trip hop. The beats are very subdued here, but it is indeed trip hop nevertheless. One of my favorite albums from the year 2000.

Did you listen to the song I posted? That's not big beat, much more trip hop than the Everything but the Girl track you posted

 

OK, my bad... that particular song was not big beat, but it wasn't trip hop either. And clearly not off one of their better albums.

 

It is an amazing album and it is trip hop, The op gave the "electronica" leeway anyways so I don't really care.
