Wish I could live on six, but I need 8 hours one way or another. Still I have no problem falling asleep. I could sleep on the floor of Grand Central if I had to. Sad thing is the people who can't get to sleep are generally in most need of it, as they are overwhelmed by their waking life. But if ever I do find myself thinking too much to fall asleep, mediation will do the trick, which should illustrate how terrible of a meditator I am.
Even when I was a teen. 6 hours is all I needed. If I fall asleep at 9pm. I'm up at 3am. If I fall sleep at 11pm. I'm up at 5am. Even if I pull an all nighter the night before. If also my sleep is broken up. Like if I slept for 2 hours earlier in the evening. Then go to sleep again at 1am. I'm up at 5am.
I am still a ten hours sleeper. I can manage on 8. I used to sleep walk, when I drank too much Vodka. I have stories on that.
