Travel To Another Planet

well they wouldn't have been lonely if they had addopted to and respected the perfectly fine cultures and institutions of the people who were already there.
(indeed it is their failing to that created our culture of messing things up in the first place)
what is also being left out here is that loners aren't automatically lonely. far from it. most who choose to be loved it and wouldn't have wanted to be anything else.

One mystery I've always wondered about with other planets, is what kind of weather do they get? That would be interesting to experience.

 

by then we'll have all new ways of messing up those planets' environments.

 

obviously individually localized in regions on the surface of each. driven by the factors that drive them. many factors unique to each individualize this.

IF this planet gets to be uninhabitable or nearly so and humans are capable of moving to another planet----now WHO does anyone think would be gifted with an escape from a dying planet? I hate to say it but if there's only room for several thousand people and time is running out then yeah, we should choose among the elite. By elite I mean smartest, strongest, healthiest, the most skilled and talented. Let our best and brightest go on to repopulate the human race while Joe and Jo Blow stay behind on a dying planet. It may be cruel but it would be the best solution. And it would definitely help with our evolution!

 

that may be logical, but we all know that if it actually came down to this it would be the thousand highest paid politicians that actually got to go. in other words, the least smart, strong, healthy, skilled or talented, but the best at bullshitting.

 

Then we could take some comfort that their colony would be doomed like the rest of us.
