Okay, so Transcendental Meditation is a technique. They don't tell you that it stems from Hinduism but it does. Of course what Hinduism is is another subject. Okay now Queen of Bliss is a technique. It's from Buddhism. Both are called tantras. So you are really inquiring about tantra. What is tantra? Tantra means a technique which promotes some sort of mental experience. Since there are both Hindu or God centered tantras and Buddhist or non-god centered tantras, one cannot say that tantras are about finding god. But they are about coming to know oneself. So tantras are tehniques that are about learning about oneself.

You asked if some technique could make one high. I answered that yes, there is one technique that I know of that is like a high. It is this little known tantra. Queen of Bliss.

I offer my respects to you, namaste.

The Queen of Bliss of which you are speaking about is the same Divine Mother Consciousness that is said to manifest both you and I, in fact all reality. In the Tantras, this Queen of Bliss is known also by the names Kundalini, Bhairavi, Sakti, and many others. When this Mother Consciousness reunites with her Divine husband, only the Non-Dual Self Consciousness of Sat-Cit-Ananda is said to remain, our one true Self.

That Divine Consciousness is known by many as God.

    Om Namah Sivaya.

Sure, She also need not be called God, or Goddess, but She is the same as ones own sentience, so Buddhists as well can also make Her knowledge a means for discovery. There is evidence that there once was a path of Buddhist tantra called the Dakiniyana which made use of this knowledge of divine feminine base of all things. After all the circle is perfect having no point, it is therefore the yoni which is the base of ceaseless manifestation, the knowledge of which is the knowledge of perfection. Very few paths other than those of feminine base such as Shakta and Dakiniyana tantras teach perfection right here and now. And Transcendental Meditation is not a refutation of this view either as most of the TM mantras are shakti mantras, taken from the Shodashi, or Lakshmi tantras. So in this subject we can find one overriding truth, shakti or dakini based tantras teach perfection in this world, and right now, and do not necessitate abandoning it for a cave or retreat. That is a truely beautiful thing.
