trains, share with indigenous people, that neither are entirely prisoners of the past. you're lucky in england, scotland and wales, people in america, unless they're railfans themselves, don't seem entirely aware such things exist. our news media act like cars and planes are the only transportation that exists, and only mention trains or boats when something goes wrong with them. the'll tell you half the flights cancelled at the air port, or the freeways are jamed with stalled traffic and collisions, none of them ever mention that there is a train.
Nothing historic or particularly impressive about this train but when I lived in Marlborough, I used to take this commuter rail train into Boston every morning.
I started watching live railcams, to track storms. many storms take the same path. It was a good way to predict, how strong the storm might, or might not be. There are several live rail cams in USA. Many have loyal followers.
