I'm a big fan of this. I've read a couple of Bob Flaw's books on the subject. Following this diet helped my health a lot.

For most people fresh, cooked, whole foods are recommended. Everything served warm - no icecream, iced drinks, etc. Everything cooked. Avoid processed foods and leftovers.

There are other particular recommendations, but they coincide with particular conditions/symptoms. There is really no distinction made between food and medicine, as each food has an effect on the body.
