well, i have lived in the city and the country, and alarms have the same effect on me in both places.
ahaha... yeah, the lack of hurricanes, earthquakes and the sparcity of tornadoes is super nice. I think one touches down every 5-10 years, by teh sounds of it. Fitzy - nuh uh on the tshirts and shorts. Just it's technically warmish because it's not -20C or colder and there's no snow on the ground, just grey wet weather. About +10C lately (50ish F I think) during the day at least. Positively toasty compared to our regular week of -40
Actually, Ihm... I am still wearing my flip flops and tank tops... lol... but I am also one of those people who dig out their bikinis as soon as it's over +10
We get lots every year, still freaky. See hail the size of a softball, wind shears that shred trees, watch lightning blow shit apart.
It's basically the same here, it's awful. and I HATE this time of year. It's much worse on us in the autumn...
yea, i think i'm the only freak whose still wearing flips flops, shorts and a t-shirt out right. shit, i still go take swims in the ocean.
Nope.. I am so there with ya. Well.. no shorts, but plenty of skirts. I wear tank tops year round, just add a "grandpa cardigan" and mitts in the winter if I am going outside. Its not really cold as long as I can still wear a tank top, right? Long live the Weather Rebels in all their forms.
love live the weather rebels i shovel snow in shorts. the yuppies eyes bug out when they see me do that
Im far from a yuppie but when its cold out I will not be in shorts. My dad was kinda nutty like that.. you'd see him in shorts in the winter and pants in the summer very often.... dunno... *shrugs* I hardly ever wear a heavy winter coat in winter though and I wear tank tops in the winter so I dunno...
yeah, but you get all hot and gross when shovelling. I mean, I still wear pants, but usually just a longsleeved shirt and gloves (and sometimes a touque) when shovelling snow.
