My top Kaine from Nier Ymir from Attack on Titian's Ramba from Erotic graphic novel[google it for EROS Comic read online] Devilman and Lady from the devilman series anime and manga Hellboy The amazon from Dragons Crown Aria T'Loak from Mass Effect Honestly besides the fact they are are super hot, they got a little on me in them and parts I wish I could be in real life. Also the character development and and morals of the characters.
My personal favorites of DC Comics are Martian Manhunter, Dr. Fate, Blue Beetle and Shazam (aka Captain Marvel [for the nitpickers lol]) Martian Manhunter is an amazing character imo. Last of his kind, always searching for fellow Martians, Logical, but has a humorous personality... and quirky too! Boy does he like Oreos Dr. Fate is kind of a mystery all around. Constantly changing vessels, his destiny is somewhat pre-determined and he 'knows' how events should progress in the current timeline. Always popping up telling someone "No. That will not happen. It is not how things shall be." And preventing flaws in the timeline from happening. Blue Beetle's one of those kids that wishes he could be a superhero and gets his wish! Trouble is, the suit he wears has other ideas which he sometimes can't control. It's fun watching him learn more about himself an his confusion with the suit too. Always talking to himself out loud trying to reason with the beetle suit Shazam is great cuz everyone thinks he's an adult when he's just a child in reality. Well, comic book reality haha. He's pretty ornery in the beginning, being an orphan and all. Being adopted into a family of fellow orphans who are more family oriented when he has sort of this cold-hearted, angry at the world personality. It's a fun story to get lost in and can have a lot of meaning for kids that don't understand the way others are sometimes. Another character I like is Artie from Warehouse 13. The brains of the operation! "There is a madness to the method." He always puts on this show like he's so sick of everyone's shit, but deep down he cares for the people around him more than anyone could imagine. When he's out and about searching for artifacts it's like he's a different character entirely. This short shadowy figure wearing a long green coat and a fedora behind a pair of rounded glasses. Plus all the events he gets tangled in along the way... truly heart-wrenching, soul-hardening stuff. I find his character quite admirable with a constant and reluctant need for change. There are more characters out there, I just can't think of them right now lol. I'll be sure to report back when I do Nice topic!
Jack Reachers character by Lee Child. Starts no trouble. But finishes it when foisted upon him. ( and not that little crazy motherfucker that was mistakenly hired to play him.)
What I remember about the word Shazam, was that Captain Marvels nemesis, Dr Savanah used it as an expression. Anyone remember Super Duck?
Ms. Marvel I don't know why, really. Maybe it's because she can smack Supergirl and Wonder Woman around. I don't know much about her at all. But the few time I've read anything about her, I was impressed.
the Phantom of the Opera, the Joker from Batman...probably several others I can't bring to mind currently.
I like Storm from the X-Men. Not really sure why, I just think weather powers are super cool. If I could like, bring it a thunderstorm with massive lightening strikes and devastating, ground breaking thunder claps.. that be nifty and cool.
That's one epic picture! Frank from Shameless... I don't know why I like his character so much, but William H Macy plays the part quite well... maybe because he's constantly trying to avoid his personal dilemmas while actively/desperately trying to make money to get by. But he really does have a big heart and no one notices when he's breaks down inside. His heart is just clouded by his persistent will to get away by using drugs and drinking nonstop lol. It's sad, but he's funny, really smart, and he could probably do some great things if he ever got his shit together. Kind of like a representation of the general human spirit? (personal opinion?) Dr. Lee Rosen from the SciFi series "Alphas" is rather intriguing too. It's always a combination of professionalism and a deep, complicated personal struggle that seem to catch my interest. If you like scifi/action/dramas and haven't seen Alphas... well, you should! haha. All the characters in the series are fantastic. Superb acting, not too much cheesiness or unbelievable plots (given the fact it's a scifi series, people with abilities and whatnot). Dr. Rosen is interesting though because he's a professional therapist and the only one in the crew without abilities and even with his knowledge of human behavior (and metahuman behavior, which is more or less identical) he still fights for what he believes is right without realizing some of the consequences that may follow with his actions. Another one of those shows that ended way too soon.
Yes, on the outside Frank is a complete asshole but every now and then you see a glimpse of what he would be like without the addiction. When his mum died I felt sorry for him, he's just like her.
