Top 5 Metal bands

I have...Ever heard any of Sugar Rays industrial?

I just didn't want targeted for the extra definition scrutiny, oh well.. Basically, simply because I'm getting old. Those lines get blurrier every year that goes by. Ask me for hair bands, or corporate pelvic thrust metal..You get a different list.
Like, I always considered Godsmack to be kinda softrock, really. But, I'm only basing that on the one album I had crammed down my throat by popular culture.

Bon Jovi is not metal. My top 5 Metal bands in no particular order would be Metallica, Guns N' Roses,Iron Maiden,Black Sabbath and... can't name a fifth,those are the only metal bands I like.

 

Well see I don't consider Black Sabbath metal, yes they're heavy, heavier then Bon Jovi, but the sound sounds more like hard rock to me. Same deal with people that call Zeppelin metal.

Yes, I'm with you as well. However I understand some people consider albums with Dio heavy metal.

 

Yeah, actually I have. It is so different than the teeny bopper bullshit stuff they put out that was popular a few years back.

I can't get into prog rock. It's too pristine... for my tastes.

My brother goes to college as a music major and was treated to the drummer from Queensryche, I think he said the drummers girlfriend goes to school there so he came in. Probably after bangin' her or doing something metal.

 

So you like Vanilla Ice? Hahaha, wow man, he's the cousin of my cousins best friend. Have you ever met him? He's pretty cool. Anyway...what the hell am I doing here? I hate metal music. No offense but just not my taste.
