While you’re probably correct, I wouldn’t be so quick to dismiss the human penchant and need to embrace nostalgia whenever possible.

can't call someone a poseur if they're really an asshole. but it also serves a higher purpose of thickening up their skin a bit to the shenanigans on the RT and whiners forum.

But I think a truly good person, good in the sense that they accept everyone for who they are without judgement, develops a thick skin, but still exposes the raw tenderness of their heart, embracing the sensitivity they have for others feelings and emotions.
