Too eager?

So i met this girl out the other night and got her number, i stupidly me being drunk sent her a text and said let me know when you get in as she stayed a while away and had lost her friend she was with.

I didn't get a reply and later sent her a text later on in the even about 7 at night.

Was this a bad idea should i have left it a bit longer before texting her. I know every girl is different. I also know she could just be busy or working etc

I am just a little confused about you said to her exactly.

 

Frankly I'm concerned OP was drunk early on in the day and 7 pm is considered "late."

Also- clean up your question/post. I'm not sure I understand you.

Rule of thumb.... take it as a direct indication of disinterest if you dont get a reaponse to text. It might the content or you. Since you don't know yet, call next time and ask her out properly. Then see whay happens. Good luck.

 

"later" is not the same as "late."

there's nothing wrong with a little day-drinking, as long as it is only done occasionally.

 

so was it the same day or the next day?

 

Maybe she didn't give you her real number.

 

I don't think she is interested...might not even be because of the text. Move on, I reckon.
