Tonight Show - Jimmy Fallon

Fallon's nervous geek style is getting on my nerves, and the Roots are playing nothing but hip hop and rap, the only kinds of music that almost nobody over 30 is willing to listen to.

I think I may be done with this show.

 

Ive not given my ears a listen yet, Ive only seen clips on huff..

 

I don't know... I don't find Jimmy Fallon funny. I saw (part of) this show of like skits from Fallon's late night show and I found they were just so stupid and ridiculous that I didn't find them to be funny at all. I just kept thinking maybe if I was 21 years old and drunk as shit...

But yea, Colbert is my man.

Jimmy who? Fallon is so last week.

NBC is giving all the good guests to Seth Myers for his first week as Late Night host, so I’m recording those to watch at an earlier time. He got off to a good start last night. He had a longer and better monolog than Jimmy, who has no background in stand up comedy. I also like his smaller and simpler band, which isn’t tied to a narrow style. It seems right for a talk show.

I got reminded last week of how crowded the late night talk show field has become. Lots of competition. Of that whole group, I think maybe the guy from Bravo (I forget his name) has the most pleasant personality, though I’ve only seen him have boring guests and dull topics. Chelsea Handler is undoubtedly the worst. Her attitude is horrible. I don’t know how she got her job, or what Leno ever saw in her.

Fallon had better get his shit together. Seth Myers can do this.

 

I was disappointed with Seth's first show, but I trust he will get better. I think he was just nervous for his first show.

Also, I'm worried about Fred Armisen. He has lost a LOT of weight. He looks downright sickly.
