    i went through that dumb shit too...i remember when i was 15 i came home with a mohawk and my father basically disowned me. parents are kind of retarded, especially the suburban, uptight kind that just want you to be normal like everyone else. but they're still your parents, and love you, and probably just want what's "best for you"; they don't want to see you miss out on "opportunities" or be catch shit from people. understandable.

    they always backpedal when you shrug it off and say "ok, well fine, i'll move out then..."; they're just being really lame.
