yes, like them raw, or baked, or with salt and pepper, or with cucumbers and vinagrette, or on pizzas........ The store bought ones don't taste much at all, do they? I love cherry tomatoes that you grow yourself
I love picking sweet little cherry tomatoes fresh off the vine, rubbing the dust off onto my shirt, and popping them into my mouth while they're still warm from the sun.
I like them, but it depends on what kind... I don't grow any myself but the store bought ones vary a lot, if they got a lot of flavor I like them without anything on them at all. Often if they're a little blander I'll put a bit of salt on them.
Ah the tomato... the apple of Peru. North Americans believed tomatoes were poisonous until 1820, when Colonel Robert Gibbon Johnson disproved that myth during a public demonstration on the courthouse steps in Salem, NJ. In France, after the poison myth was dispelled, the people came to believe the tomato was an aphrodisiac and called it "pomme d'amour," or "love apple." Today, the typical American consumes about 80 pounds of tomatoes per year, and it is one of the most common plants grown in home gardens.
OMG YES, I LOVE tomatoes. I don't understand the question, though. Are you asking because you're unfamiliar with eating a tomatoe any way but cooked? I would think cooked tomatoes are far less commonly eaten than raw, which are super-common in salads. In fact, I bought three ripe Florida tomatoes just yesterday for the purpose of eating raw very soon. -Jeffrey
no, i know they are okay to eat raw. i was just wondering if each individual person likes them raw or only when they are cooked or salted or something.
theyre good raw but i suggest cutting em in half, throwing some cheddar and bacon on top of em and then throwing them on the bbq
