Wow. If he pulls through somehow, we'll all look back on this and laugh. "Remember that time everyone thought Tom Petty was dead for a few hours?"

Maybe he will pull through, stranger things have happened

He's one of the few Pop Rock artists I listen to where I felt I could make a collection of his album tracks that would be just as good as his singles.

He's also one of the few musicians of his era who consistently put out good music his entire career. Wildflowers is one of my favorite albums of all time and it was released in 1994. Most of Petty's contemporaries had lost their spark by the 90s

 

R.I.P. Tom Petty.

 

The traveling wilderberriers or whatever they were called with petty and Dillon.. Those were kool days of old... R.I.P.
