How do you leave the toilet? Meaning the seat and lid. I alway put the lid down when done, not to be confused with the seat.
Unless it's a nasty public toilet putting it down is automatic with the one exception of guys only with lots of drinking.
Oh sorry.I thought you were talking about the seat.To be honest it would never occur to me to put down the lid.
generally i just leave it however i used it. if i'm at a woman's house, i'll usually put the seat and lid down just to be safe.
We keep the lid down in my house. It seemed the only fair solution, that way we both have to put something down when we're done.
It does solve that problem. I did hear that when you flush you a mist comes off and floats around the bathroom with our toothbrushes not to far away.
there is no always. if its late and neighbors are likely sleeping i put lids down before flushing to minimize noise produced. otherwise grandpa's picture fraime usually stays down and cover lid up.
I don't understand not noticing that the seats up or down. then why is their the word always? I never leave the seat up after I'm done!
I actually have a penis piercing, which is relevant because as a result I piss sitting down so that it doesn't spray this way and that, or douse my jeans in urine! So I tend to leave the seat down, lid up. Having read this thread, I may start to experiment with leaving the lid (not to be confused with the seat-only approach) down as well.
I started leaving the lid down when a former dog decided the toilet was a convenient water dish. I still leave the lid down.
If the seat is left up in this house, I put it down with my foot, causing it to make a very loud noise, which usually gets my point across. The way I see it - I'm the one to clean the damn thing 3 - 4 x a week, so I'll be dammed if that seat is allowed to stay up.
Well damn...all this time I thought you were a girl. Maybe it was the avatar. Anyway what if you only have urinals available or you are outside in the woods...can you control it enough that it sprays away from you?
