    Good morning weather watchers!

    I've been on beach patrol, and still being safe. I see all sorts of mad idiots running about with no masks. Makes me sad to see so many getting sick also.

    Here in La Paz, the sun is shining and the wonderful winter weather rolls by ceaselessly. Almost boring..... not!

    I have found that adding a dash of paprika to the corn starch coating on fried fish gives it a nice golden color. Nice flavor also!

    Geeezzz, do you have one of those giant stone fireplaces with a forced air circulator? Or a woodstove?

    I was watching a video of a guy camping in a blizzard with a wood stove in his tent! Stay warm!

    Our main source of heat is the furnace in the basement. But, we have been using the fireplace more often this winter. Unfortunately, I don't think I cut & split enough wood this year as we are getting low on split wood. And I ain't running out to my woods in this weather to cut & split more. Hahaha

    I used to fell, cut and split all my own wood for heating “big ol farm house” I would use 15-18 face-cord,

    It’s great exercise!

    Rain? Won't be raining here any time soon.

    There is a foot of snow out there and more on the way... Not to mention temps being way below freezing for at least the next 10 days. Probably the rest of the month.

    Worst part, the propane guy didn't deliver before the last snow storm and now he can't get down my driveway.
