    When I woke up at 10 am, it was -2.5 degrees and sunny.

    When I last checked my thermometer at night, it was -3 degrees where my home is. The sky had gotten clear at night. The temperature must have gotten colder later towards the morning.

    Most of the snow on the ground melted by now, there is very little snow left on the ground.

    Greetings weather watchers, I see you are all watching the skies, measuring temperatures and noticing your environment. That's a good sign, it shows you are alive!!!



    Last evening was spent enjoying some Monty Python, I have to admit I had never seen "The Life of Brian." How did I miss that?

    Today is January 18, 2021 and there are only a few days left in this madness called the Trump presidency. I hope they have taken away his buttons and the little cannon he would fire off whenever he signed a decree. Perhaps he'd best start loading a moving truck with all the stuff he will pilfer from the White House.

    Did you hear they have had to keep a staff of ten on hand called the 'Scotch Tape Brigade?' They would search the bins daily for torn up documents and papers that legally are required to be kept for the 'presidential archives.' They must get gold stars for their service in preserving the evidences of his crimes.

    Meanwhile in sunny La Paz, Mexico, I have heard a rumor that rain is approaching... RAIN! not RAIN! But as for today I am happy to see it will be 85 F. Perfect.

    I won't get more of it where I am but where I will be as of tomorrow.

    The snow is just 1 or 2 day thing where I live. But it is still below average weather here.

    It is minus 1.7 degrees and it is not very late. 7:25 pm...

    The quality will be less with Sony Ericsson W810i.

    I no longer use a smart phone. If I could make somebody take my photos with his phone and send them to my hotmail or facebook, that would be better.

    I am spending money to go to Eastern Turkey because I am not satisfied with negative temperatures which are close to zero. That is not cold.

    Where I will be, even the highest temperatures will be as cold as -13 degrees.

    A new pier, wonderful! When finished I want to see a picture of the town from out there at the end of the pier... I love walking out on those long piers and standing above the water... Watching the tide roll in and out, the birds, the Birds, the fishermen, the surfers and the dog walkers.

    -3.5 degrees and clear sky. It is getting to 10 pm.

    Temperatre drop is very fast. It looks like it will be much lower towards the morning.

    My warm city is having its coldest day of 2021.

    That is the walking place near my home in İzmit (my city).

    Photo taken yesterday. It was snowing at +1 degrees celsius when I took this photo and snow cover on the ground.
