    What a wonderful World and a Wonderful Thread this has become!

    Thank you all for your weather reports. It is amazing to see how much different things are around the globe.

    We see great evidence of global warming with Grandeur's reports from Turkey.

    We see cold artic air masses torturing the British.

    And I see warm tropical air, blue skies and gentle breezes here in La Paz, BCS, Mexico.

    I know it's not fair!!!

    That's why I have to thank you all for sharing.

    And we must thank you for starting this thread Zen, which has allowed us to indulge ourselves with all things weather in this thread you started.
    I think it is true to say that pretty much everyone is interested in not only their local weather and forecasts, but also from wherever it comes from around the world. :)

    Well I admired Boozercruiser's weather report format so much I looked about for a suitable one for myself, and this loaned PC. So here you go with it:

    Today is Saturday, January 9 2021! And this is a weather map of the globe (most of it anyway...).

    Bit warmer today at 6c and will try and get out for a walk provided it isn’t raining.

    You should be so bloody lucky Kenny - its still only just over freezing here, we had freezing fog overnight and the frost is still visible on the rooves of houses opposite me.

    Yes Vlad I know I am lucky to have ONLY 6c, because as you say other parts particularly inland and rural can be much colder than on the coast.

    Actually in around 5/10 minutes time we will be leaving our apartment so as to go on a 5,000 steps walk along the promenade.
    If you stay glued to your CCTV Live feed there you might even see us going out.
    I will even give a wave!

    Well I don’t know if you caught me 21 but Wifey and I were standing in the front passage leading to the apartments talking to a neighbour of ours around 8 minutes after my post.
    We talked for around 7 minutes there easily seen from the camera.
    If you missed it.
    I bet you are gutted!:laughing:

    This is "high" season down here... all the Canadian Geese and other snowbirds are here spreading the virus and buying up all the stuff in the stores. we also get a lot of US people with money to burn. Drives all the prices up... and crowds the roads. Forget going to the popular beaches, they are filled to capacity.

    Until I get the vaccine I al still not going to restaurants or bars or hanging out in town... still waiting.

    Going to drive 30 miles north today (maybe tomorrow..depending on motivation) to a 'secret' beach better than the tourist spots... miles of sand and shells, a few campers, fewer people. Good fishing from the shoreline I hear.

    I looked and do not find, but I read a story in the nuisance that there was a RIOT?!?!

    And some people had hidden knives in gardens around town in advance of the festivities?!?!?!?!

    In BOURNEMOUTH????!!!!

    Hellacious weather there... fog, riots, gee Candy Gal I am sorry to make you see my scenes of paradise daily when you are going through hell. It's not fair I tell you!!!

    I am pleased you saw Wifey and I.
    Yes that Lady we were talking to we have been out on many an evening with her and hubby dancing and for meals.
    Of course course none of that now with COVID-19.

    She drinks a lot of Wine and smokes a lot of fags and because she is not allowed to smoke in the building she always stands there smoking her fag and drinking either Wine or Tea or Coffee depending on the time of day.
    Every hour or two she is there.
    I don’t envy her though, particularly in this ruddy cold!

    In the car park can you see the furthest car on the right?
    Well that’s her car.
    Because we don’t drive now, we let her park there for £5 (6 Dollars) a week.
    Yes I know.
    I am sssoooo generous.
    Ain’t I? :laughing:

    Thank you for you'r lovely observations there M21.
    You know what my friend.
    Even though I only had that heart operation 15th December 2020 I am feeling just fine really.
    My pains have almost disappeared and my lungs and all my bit seem to all be functioning just fine.
    Must get out later for a walk and have to call into surgery to put medical scripts in, and while at it we will get that 5,000 steps in.
    We normally aim for at least 10,000 steps, but not just yet!
    Right.
