I try to sleep with the window open but I have difficulty falling into sleep. It is not comfortable. Lol. 3 and a quarter degrees outside as thermometer is showing between 3 and 3.5.
Too cold to sleep. You are not a caveman. Please take care of yourself. Honestly I am sounding like your Mother x

And later, I went to Eastern Turkey. But stayed for 4 days only in a small hotel. Where I live, the coldest night was minus 4 that winter, however in Eastern Turkey, I experienced minus 30 that winter being outside. But I put 7 clothes on me as I said at minus 30. Minus 30 is fucking cold. Lol. It makes minus 4 feel like a summer weather.
Naughty Grandy swearing. Good night. Go to sleep it is late. Shut that window. You are making me cold! Lol
1 It is the kind of cold that you can explain by swearing but I had fun putting 7 clothes on me Good night.

Well that's not so dreadful! No freezing rain or snow today, that's good. Looks as if Boston College is getting decorated for the holidays! That is a nice looking campus
Well I walked into the Kitchen this morning and it reeks of curry! I wonder WHY? But I flung open the windows, let the cool fresh air pour in and then watched with dismay as the trash truck passed by the castle gates. Ooops. I forgot to have Igor place the bin outside last evening, with a 50 pound boulder atop (to prevent the hounds from ravaging the trash). Oh well, they will be back on Friday morning. Igor can sleep in today. I however, am up early and about to go out the door to the Bog Box Store. Must get the ingredients for American Thanksgiving. And mustn't grumble at what I can't find. It's all good. Today is cool. The endless heat of summer may finally be relaxing it's stranglehold grip on reality around here. I sweat that when the heat is so high all the time it bakes one's brains into mush. And the bay, oh the bay... how tranquil.
Well the turkeys were all imported from America and muy cara... I was not about to spend an entire week's grocery bill on one overly large fowl. There are just two of us at this Thursday's party, so I found an organic free range fresh whole chicken, which I will roast to perfection. There will be cheesecake. Bombay Potatoes. Green salad. Roast chicken. Stuffing. Pan gravy. Cauliflower (because it is in almost everything you eat in India). There isn't any cranberry sauce however. I think I'll make a pineapple mango chutney instead.
And yes there are four bottles of wine... chilled whites and lovely reds. Rumors around here hint at a bottle of 25 year old brandy somewhere... And BTW there were live Christmas trees at the grocery today. $100 US dollars for a wee thing all scraggly and losing it's needles in the hot Mexican sun already. I think these trees are embarrassing and only Charlie Brown would want one. I'd rather decorate the Century Plant.
