Yes Zen. Our local Conwy council are very kind. Mind you we do pay £1,400 a year in council taxes, so that’s the least they can do!
@Boozercruiser That's about the same as property tax on my house in Northern California. It also goes to the local schools, police, welfare, roads, etc. Not a terrible price to pay for civilization. I think they may be doing a better job in Conwy than where I was however.
Despite the high winds which occasionally gusted to over 50 mph there wasn’t much damage. The heavy wet snow on Friday brought down so many vulnerable trees, leaves, and dead branches, there wasn’t anything left other than healthy growth.
