    WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM THIS MORNING TO 6 PM EST THIS EVENING.

    WHAT...West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts 45 to 50 mph. A few gusts to 55 mph are possible over the higher terrain.
    WHERE...All of southern New England, except the Islands.
    WHEN...From 9 AM this morning to 6 PM EST this evening. IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

    Everything has calmed down here now but a lotta rain on the way for this afternoon, so Wifey and I will try and get out for our morning walk soon before that starts.

    Good Afternoon weather watchers.

    Wifey and I just got back from a lovely 11,000 step walk and took some photos.
    There was a lovely rainbow showing out to sea here in Colwyn Bay/Rhos On Sea

    Our local Conwy council are very kind.
    Mind you we do pay £1,400 a year in council taxes, so that’s the least they can do! :laughing:

    @Boozercruiser That's about the same as property tax on my house in Northern California. It also goes to the local schools, police, welfare, roads, etc. Not a terrible price to pay for civilization. I think they may be doing a better job in Conwy than where I was however.

    Despite the high winds which occasionally gusted to over 50 mph there wasn’t much damage.

    The heavy wet snow on Friday brought down so many vulnerable trees, leaves, and dead branches, there wasn’t anything left other than healthy growth.
