    You've got all the symptoms.

    You have WINTER.

    A common affliction of those living at extreme northern or southern latitudes on this planet. Those living near the 'tropical' zone don't experience that... we have the opposite... eternal summer.

    I think I like the change of seasons better than eternal summer :)

    But be reasonable about it please!!!

    Today in La Paz it is cooling steadily from day to day. This morning I put on my sweat pants and corduroy shirt to keep warm... it's just 73 degrees in the house -FREEZING!!!

    Oh yeah, we're in it now but only expecting an inch.

    The long-range forecast has a major storm forming off the east coast late next week,

    But will it hit what Meteorologists call the sweet spot at 40 degrees north latitude and 70 degrees west longitude, to give us a big snowstorm or will it be an inside runner to give us heavy rain and wind - we shall see.

    Sorry no post today, but sorting out holiday going for over a week Zen.
    Yes.
    Holiday even in winter!

    Will try and post while away, but the CCTV Cam always stays on along with 5 others we have both inside and outside our property.
    Along with alarms this is all very comforting to be able to look around home while away.

    Regarding papers.
    We don't buy a paper every day, but I do pay £10 a month for the below online reading situation.
    This gives all the newspapers and magazines I could ever want
    on my 12.9 " Plus IPad.

    But even though I have that I still buy the odd paper, because like you a newspaper in my hands feels so much better.

    Weather is amazing, it's always happening!

    We hope and pray some winter storm will wander a couple thousand miles south to visit us...and drop some rain.

    It's getting dry again here.

    Chillier at night but not much else to report except sunny skies!

    Winter Storm Diaz brought two inches of heavy wind driven rain to eastern Massachusetts, and heavy wet snow to interior Massachusetts and the Berkshires.
    The rain just changed over to snow but with the storm moving out the best we can hope for is a coating to an inch.

    Today in La Paz it is starting off chilly. Hope to get enough sun today to hang my laundry out to dry :)

    For warmth I would go to Tortola at 81 F. Chefchaouen has the BEST hashish, but also a bit chillly up in the mountains. And London is completely out of the question today as it is raining and COLD.

    Glad I am here :)
