    Well it looks as if the Jet Washers are done, and the clouds rolled in!

    In San Diego every summer it would get cloudy and foggy in the daytime as the cool sea interacted with hot air from inland... we called it June Gloom. But it kept you cool I must admit!

    How's the fog in your area @wyldwynd ?

    Strong to Severe Thunderstorms Possible This Afternoon and Tonight...

    Thunderstorms are expected to develop early this afternoon across Southern New England, with another period of thunderstorms late this afternoon to early tonight. Some thunderstorms may become strong to severe, producing gusty to damaging straight line wind gusts and torrential rainfall, though a brief tornado is possible as well. While flooding is not expected to be a significant risk, localized flooding is possible in urban and poor drainage areas. The period of greatest thunderstorm risk is approximately from noon to 10 PM this evening, potentially impacting commuters into the late afternoon commute.

    The ruddy cleaners didn’t even come do the job!
    They are now coming Friday/Saturday instead!

    I went through similar agony the last few weeks waiting for workers to finish their construction job in the house here.

    Best luck getting that done and out of the way!

    I hear you loud and clear, too clear I say. It is so dry they are seeing optical illusions out at sea of skyscrapers and cities, a hundred miles from any land.

    We've been having a lot brush fires because of lack of rain. It rained north and south us a few days ago. But we're in the middle of the state and we're treated like a red headed step child by the weather lol

    This is the THIRD arrangement they made without turning up!
    The other two they put down to Covid because blokes where off wit the curse!
    As an apartment block we are paying £1,000 to have this job done.
    So not cheap!

    'Jet Clean will now be attending Marine View Apartments on Thursday 28th July 2022 to jet wash the front car park including coping stones leading to apartments.
    Then Saturday 30th July 2022 for the removal of sand, the approximate time of arrival will be 9am on both days.
    In order to ensure that no property is damaged during the jet cleaning we request that the car park is cleared of any vehicles and personal property in advance.'
