    I hope it is not raining in Wales or New Jersey... it's supposed to be a beautiful day!

    Here in La Paz the city was rocking with festivities for the FOUR HUNDRED EIGHTY SEVENTH birthday of the City of La Paz!!!

    Imagine that! 487 years old!

    I thought I was ancient at 69 years... but NOOOO!

    La Paz, Baja California Sur (BCS). On the boardwalk of the capital of Baja California Sur, the coronation of the new queen Calafia took place, after 3 years, Jessica gives the crown to Melisa; all this in the celebration of the 487 years of the foundation of La Paz.
    Moments before this event, in which the governor, Víctor Castro Cosío and the municipal mayor , Milena Quiroga Romero , were present, the staging of the landing of Hernán Cortés was experienced , with music, actors, dancers, rap and even a bagpipe.
    “Today we begin these anniversary celebrations with the representation of the landing of Cortés in the bay of Santa Cruz; this gave way to the history of queen Calafia”, mentioned the mayor.
    It is worth mentioning that, at 10:00 p.m., the stellar presentation of the singer Ángela Aguilar is scheduled , while, tomorrow, Wednesday 4, Ximena Sariñana will be; on Thursday Mono Blanco at 9:30 p.m.; the next day Patita de Perro at 9:00 p.m.; for Saturday Gaby Romero and Sonora Dinamita will perform at the kiosk on the boardwalk.

    Today's tamales are Portobello Mushroom and Cream Cheese filled :)
