Clear skies over Connecticut on New England, northeast coast of America, time but only 55F. No rain around, though.
Another day of summer like weather. Perfect. We had heavy rain come thru lastnight. Me and the wife smoked away as we watched the thunderstorms from within the garage.

No sunshine here today, but no rain either. 76F with a light breeze moving the leaves on the branch outside my window. Supposed to stay warm tonight, so we'll probably be sitting out on the porch tonight, handing cookies out to the raccoons. Their little black hands are cute, and their mouths gentle as they take the treats from our hands.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ We had a 75 year old silver maple tree in our backyard and had it cutdown because it posed a definite hazard to the house. Unbeknownst to us there was a family of raccoons living in the mostly hollowed out tree and when the tree service arrived did they ever scatter. Didn't really want to evict them but it was them or us.
Ours lived in our basement for a while but we had to put them out because they are destructive little critters. We made them move out, but we do keep them in dog food (they like Kibbles and Bits) and cookies!
Thank you so much for your concerns Zen and Angel and others in respect of my Wife. That helps somewhat! I can’t describe her suffering at the moment, but in 26 years of being together this is by far the worse. Christina said she would not want to try anything like that just yet. She is Coeliac and almost anything can adversely effect her. At this moment at 9.35am Wednesday 15th September I am waiting for a call back from Docs. I sent a right e. mail into Docs at 2.00am Just a little of which is below. .. Tuesday 14th September: Bloods taken by Nurse at 2.20pm who said she would make a note to Doctor Close that requests had been made to her by my Wife and in respect of reliable pain killing medication. Tuesday 14th September 6.00pm: Doctor Close telephoned my Wife and asked her what the situation was. Christina explained to Doctor the pain situation and Doctor Close said. "You need to be seen" Telephone 111." Which I did but it was my Wife who gave the explanations to 111 in respect of her situation. First we spoke to one person who asked her lots of questions. Then she was put on hold and was asked all the same questions to someone else. We where told that a Doctor would telephone my Wife back 20 minutes later. He did so, and yet again while in very sever pain which she related to him as 9 (out of ten) all that had happened. We told that Doctor that Doctor Close had said that Christina "Needed to be seen" The Doctor said "no". He said it was her own Doctor who needed to sort this situation out as he was just there on 111 for critical life saving situations and he felt that this was not one of them. The Doctor at least prescribed 14 Diazapam tablets 2MG to help with relaxation and possible sleep. I rushed up to Morrisons to obtain and got there just before closing at 8.00pm. Doctor said she was to take one or two three times daily as required. At this moment of time at 1.45 am on 15th September 2021 my Wife has taken just one tablet along with two paracetamol before she just now went to bed. So at the moment I do not know if she has managed any sleep at all. So there you have it Doctor. Up to now from 6th September my Wife has been in a sort of Pass The Parcel game between surgery and hospital and surgery and 111. Advised telephone 111 by Doctor. 111 First reception Lady. 111 Second reception Lady. 111 Doctor. He hands Parcel Christinas situation back to Doctor Close. who Christina had talked to only an hour and a half before! It seems like getting to actually be examined and seen and cared for by an actual fully qualified Doctor nowadays is a bit like Mission Impossible! This while Christina suffers the excruciating horror pain game. My Wife is in almost constant relentless pain in the way she has already described to you and as she was at surgery in front of Nurse crying some of the time. Just helping her walk to her bed and do any moves to lay her down properly is sending her upper tummy into spasms and excruciating pain in her back. She is blowing out air from her mouth in puffs to try and relieve the pain. I am requesting that Christina has a proper Doctor examination. That she has a useful pain reliever prescribed. That she is properly helped hopefully to get over this current situation which is the worse I have ever known in the 26 years my Wife and I have been together. Best Regards Mr. Kenneth Thain. On behalf of my Wife Christina Thain.

WoW! I am so sad and sorry to hear this Kenny. My heart goes out to Chris and I hope she got some sleep. I really can not imagine that... which is the terrifying part of it. You are a good man, standing by your wife at all costs! Thank you for being there for her! I know it's a really tough job to care for someone you love when they are down.
And it's such a beautiful day! I know you'd rather be out walking with Chris, I hope that happens again soon!
Oh, brother Kenny, my heart breaks for you both, for Christina's pain and for your frustration and feeling of helplessness. I only wish there was something I could do to help! I am crying now just thinking about it. Please know my heart is with you, and let your lady know as well, for whatever small comfort she might be able to get from that. Please let God send a caring and sympathetic doctor to help her. All I can offer is my love and concern, and you know that it's yours.
Hi Guys. Well my letter did the trick! I got a telephone call this morning and Chris and I went up to surgery at 12.00pm to see an actual Doctor! She was a lovely Lady and gave Wifey a really good check over. This while Chris was in lots of pain while it was going on. To cut a long story short Chris has to go Friday for a back/stomach X Ray. She has a urine/kidney infection which may be causing some of her problems. She has been put on Antbiotics and some pain killer stuff, and increased dose of Amitriptyline and Diazepam and some strong rub in cream. There are some problems with her bloods which were taken, so that’s a worry. But I will look on the bright side. Because of my letter it has moved Docs to get their bastard fingers out. Poor Chris is still in a lot of pain. I have told her and read out to her some stuff peop[le have said here and that has cheered her up no end. Back to subject! Weather here today has been very nice,. Almost like a Sumner day. You can look in on my live CCTV Nest feed if you wish to see how things are right now if you wish.
