Flash Flood Warning

Until 600 AM EDT Thursday.

At 1001 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Boston, Cambridge, Quincy, Lynn, Newton, Somerville, Framingham, Waltham, Malden, Brookline, Medford, Weymouth, Revere, Peabody, Arlington, Everett, Salem, Billerica, Beverly and Marlborough.

 

In Stafford, CT, it's coming down by the bucket full!

 

People, those of you in the path of Tropical storm 'IDA' and underneath all that rain and wind, come back and let us all know you're safe, dry and well.

 

Rain is still coming down in buckets but were fine, street has good drainage but there are many others in the area not so fortunate.

Thank you! Me and the wife were just getting home as the rain started to get real heavy. Lots of flooded roads. Now we need Angle to check in. Also happy Hotwater is doing good.

 

We had a wicked storm lastnight. Possible tornado down the street from my house and one in South Jersey. We are land locked. No way out of town. I couldn't make it to work. There was an explosion 2 towns over last night. Apparently our house was shaking and I slept through it. Abandoned cars everywhere.

Another sunny day. We are not land locked anymore. Some roads are still closed and river is still raising. 23 people dead and unknown missing. Abandoned cars are getting picked up. I was able to make it to work. So happy for that. I was bored yesterday. I ended up playing video games after running yesterday morning.
