If it was very hot today. I would welcome it. I'll run in it too! But this storm is going to be nasty.
May be today we will get a thunderboomer ourselves! Temps look to be predicted cooler, and we sure could use some sprinkles to keep down the dust. Yesterday I drove to the water company for the usual order of five 20 liter bottles of reverse osmosis drinking water. One simply does NOT drink the water from the tap here....it has a normal PPM of over 800, which is mostly salts. RO, 20 or less PPM. WE do take vitamins to counteract the loss in minerals. As I entered the highway I was astounded at the sand that had blown over it, and the heavy traffic was stirring up dust clouds for miles. Which is another reason I don't mind wearing a mask. I don't like breathing that stuff. Sunset last evening was interesting...
In the past the vast majority of severe thunderstorms were focused on the western part of the state from the Berkshires, to the Pioneer Valley, to the Worcester Hills. The terrain is ideal for the formation of thunderstorms. This year however the storms have managed to maintain their level of severity all the way to the coast which is highly unusual, and over the past decade we've seen Tornadoes in Revere, Massachusetts, and on Cape Cod which is almost unheard of.
That is quite the change in such a short time. When I moved to NorCal I was surprised to hardly ever hear thunder, but we had plenty of storms with lightning. Different kind of terrain I suppose.

Blue skies with perfectly puffy clouds...no rain clouds in sight. Still hot but a beautiful day to be outside.
What a wonderful thing! Haven't heard this before, I don't think... not this original version anyway. Happy!

Oddly enough that song spoke as much about the financial climate at the time in 1927 as it did about the actual weather. Fast forward two years - well...lol..
Went out for walkies this morning and took some pictures. Mainly of our brand new opened pier/walking platform. There isn’t a lot to it really, but it’s better than nothing! ... Thank you for the wishes Kenny! Glad you had a nice day in Colwyn Bay Well I thought I would stop in here first thing and say hello to my friends I am so happy: Life is good, I gather for the recipient of this lorry filled with Guinness Here in La Paz we mope along, the heat is oppressive enough to wilt your energy. Gin and Tonic provide sweet relief, but you can't drink too many of them before tottering off to a siesta. At least I don't drink the local favorite, beer mixed with Clamato Juice. Sprinkled with lime. Sometimes there is a shrimp floating around in there. Not for me. I'd rather have these people stop by:
