What a beautiful day in Colwyn Bay! Thank you for your report, and the nice thoughts about wellness, very important!
Likes to show up after a heavy rain storm. My favorite is when it's very low on top just as it's starting to clear up.. I'm able to fly my drone above it. It's actually pretty cool!
That's funny... but my writing is mostly lyrical when I am relaxed...and not wearing my moderator hat
20 °C°F Precipitation: 40% Humidity: 69% Wind: 17 mph Bournemouth, UK Wednesday Scattered showers NOT true just squally wind. https://magicseaweed.com/Bournemouth-Surf-Report/12/
Squalls are something to be feared when at sea in a little boat Glad you are safe and snug in your house! Just checked the webcam and it's dark and kind of gloomy.
..... ...... Good morning/afternoon/evening/night to all my forum friends. It’s not too bad at the moment today at 17c here in Colwyn Bay North Wales. Chance of lots of rain later though. Yuck! If you want you can look in at our live CCTV camera which is located just above our patio door, and see for yourself! Looking down towards the sea: Shared Live Stream | Nest If the camera is off then please try later. Wifey doesn’t like the camera on while we are snogging on the swing! Just Kiddin’! ........
Batten the hatches everyone - here we go again !!! Cornwall braces for 75mph wind gusts as Storm Evert approaches UK Michael Drummond 29 July 2021, 11:48 am Winds of up to 75mph are set to lash parts of the South West as Storm Evert hits the UK on Thursday and Friday. The Met Office said the newly named storm will bring “unseasonably strong winds and heavy rain”. Warnings are in place for parts of the south of England and Wales, with warnings of possible damage to infrastructure and travel disruption. Forecasters announced Evert as the name for the storm on Thursday morning, advising the public to be “weather aware”. They predicted some coastal and hilly areas will see wind gusts of between 45mph and 55mph, rising to 65-75mph gusts across Cornwall. The naming of Storm Evert comes on the day the Government announced that more than £860 million is to be invested in flood prevention schemes across the UK over the next year.
Do you always get so many thunderstorms in summer there? I do remember being on the farm in Princeton and watching the thunderheads rise. I thought they were cool as a kid.
I am happy to see your skies cleared and all looks sunny. I do see people walking by your hedge wall, so people are out and about having fun! Nice
Well I certainly hope your hatches are battened! I was always the one ordered below in a squall to do exactly that on the sailboat... until I grew up and told someone else to do it.
