I try not to think about it.. cuz sometimes i think.. damn im only 3 years from 30.. and if i plan on living a somewhat healthy life into a decent old age.. i need to change some things quick like.. cuz health wise.. there's a lot that scares me and can go wrong the older you get.. but then again its like its 30.. 30 is like the new 21..

i think about this shit all the time. something similar happened to me, i probably really only had one chance to have ever met my boyfriend who i've been with for 3 years so far, and the little decisions that were made that day and the way things just fell into place allowed me to. he was hanging out with one of my band mates that day, and came with him to our practice session. we exchanged emails and we've been together ever since.

it makes me think about how lucky i am for that to have happened... like the choice of having band practice that day, or joining the band at all, or even my choice of taking up an instrument, it all led me to being with him.

although i wonder if i would've met him at some point anyways, since he hangs out with my old band mate occasionally. but it just kinda blows me away sometimes

yea, but what i'm trying to say is maybe that happens everyday...we just don't know it. i'm sure those people realize how lucky they were.

that's a good point. kinda goes back to what i said about maybe we wouldn't be capable of making the opposite decision (if we were able to go back in time). maybe it just always works out the way it's supposed to. i dunno which way i believe, and i guess that doesn't matter anyways...it's gonna be how it is regardless of what i think.

CC, i think every person feels this way. Teachers and people are guiding you, especially parents. Its a big step to graduating, it gives you responsibility and true hope that you'll make it in life. College is a whole different ball game and believe or not. its going to be easier on you if you focus better along the way, the teachers there treat you as an adult if you take them seriously.
The hardest part about after graduating is starting a chapter totally. Your parents want you to do this and that so you dont lose your ambition and thats when it gets stressful, especially how the world is today, you literally cant get anything done but you have to stay positive and keep going..

As for your girlfriend, shes starting her life..getting more responsibilities and growing up a little every day. You are mature and accepting life as it comes...shes going to keep loving you for it and for you, despite what age. Girls like MEN and you are a man if you keep your chin up. Confront her about it, make sure you tell her that you love her for who she is and never forget it..

Besides...with college and the homework...she wouldnt feel the need to look for other men... too stressful
