Believe me I know Tim's can be shit I worked for them at one stage!! I remember years ago when they changed from actually making donuts to then bringing in that frozen premade shit.

When I did the graveyard the amount of waste..... I would sneak extras out to ppl always.

I have a big choice in front of me. I've been offered a job with a better company, and have to quit where I'm at now..... I hate quitting b/c I like these ppl I just would like to change for some type of job progression. The cafe is family owned run by mum and the daughters.... there is no where to go. I'm already there as a manager.

 

i miss bagels. there is no mom and pop bagel store anywhere remotely near where i am.

our bikes were stolen last night.. probably $1200+ in value after you factor in helmets, racks, bags. so pissed. that was my transportation to work and back, so now I have to take the bus every day. it was also the only exercise I got, so I guess I'll start walking....

we also just bought a bike rack for our car, which is useless now, and we can't bring them on our trip. i'm angry and sad. I've filed a police report but I doubt they'll turn up.

 

Keep your eye on Craigslist... A lot of recently stolen items show up there. It's not like the thieves want to start exercising.

 

i can lend you a couple bikes if you want....you gotta drive right by anyway right?...why not stop and p/u some bikes and have a coffee[not tims lol]...they arent worth 1200 but they are about 300 dollar bikes of the mountain variety....not stolen

we use kijiji here...not craigs piss:mickey:bikes get traded fopr crack within an hour of the boost...from there they go into a garage for 6 months and then they are sold

yeah I'm watching Craigslist and kijiji and going to visit any local bike shops that buy used stuff and ask about it, give them the serial numbers, etc.

I might take you up on that offer rolling. or I might buy a couple junkers from the bike group at mcmaster and try fixing them up.

 

where would you be going on the east coast? I'm headed to NB, then PEI, and then nova scotia.

 

pretty much the same....mother in law is attending a wedding in NB and i have friends in wolfeville NS...it is a tempting offer,...she will pay all my gas and any expenses...plus my son has never met any of his cousins out there and he has about a hundred of them.....

but..it is my mother in law...the same lady that attacked me at a funeral home after our first fire because i told her to fuck off....she got mouthu to me...i dont let people get mouthy with me so i told her to fuck off...she actually tried to fight me in front of like 80 people...it was awful...that was 12 years ago

 

my harley davidson was stolen right out of garage in torontos west end...to this day i am still looking for the dude that did it....he should hope he doesntcross the road in front of me while i am at a light or something...i will run him over without even thinking twice

 

my friend broke his key off in his bike lock on queen street, so he went down the street to a hardware store and rented a grinder and extension cord, and then proceeded to spend 10 minutes cutting off his lock.... in the middle of the day. nobody said anything and hardly even looked twice.

I'm so pissed about this. if it had happened a few months ago I'd have had some cash to buy a new one, but I'm poor as shit right now. I think we might just buy new bikes on the line of credit and make sure to always bring them inside. the bus costs me $25/week anyway so the sooner I get a new bike, the sooner I don't have to pay for the bus.
