an entire jar of pickles, a homemade italian sub sandwich with fresh herbs and veggies on it, seasoned tomato slices, a 6 pack of a good seasonal beer, and a pen and a notebook. and a guitar....this is like the clown car of picnic baskets. How the hell does it fit so much stuff?

You suddenly have to leave home to live a nomadic life. You can only take a backpack full of belongings. What do you bring?

 

Some fruit, some cheese, some crackers, and potato salad. Yeah, I want potato salad.

A headlamp, a tarp, a sleeping bag, my friend's wallet, this super-old, super-crusty NOLA band shirt that belongs to a friend of mine and somehow ended up in my possession (he needs that shit back), 3 shirts, a pair of jeans, my patch vest, boots (fuck, I need new boots), this tiger-print polyester scarf my drunk friend gave me at the really, really free market. Extra socks/underwear. My MP3 player, my phone, my chargers, a knife, a multi-tool. If you can't fit all of that in/on a pack then you obviously can't roll it right.
